LTRC is uniquely placed in the heart of the Tuggeranong Town Centre, in Canberra's south.

Our shed is tucked away under the Town Centre Library on the banks of Lake Tuggeranong. The Brindabella Mountain Range surrounds the town centre and provides a stunning backdrop when rowing on the lake.

Lake Tuggeranong is approximately 3km long. Small islands to the north and the dam to the east protect rowers from most winds, providing good rowing conditions all year round.

Lake Tuggeranong is an artificial lake. It is filled with water by the nearby Murrumbidgee River.

Tuggeranong is a satellite city of Canberra with a population of about 80,000 people.

directions

The shed is accessed from Cowlishaw Street in the Tuggeranong Town Centre. If coming by car, rowers should park on Cowlishaw Street or in the nearby car parks and walk down the stairs between the Library and the Community Centre.

The shed is easily accessed by bicycle or foot with the cycle path crossing the front door.

The long green pontoon makes the shed easy to spot.
